Return & Exchange Policy

At The Shaggy Texan, we want you to love everything you order. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help make it right.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.

To be eligible for a return, merchandise must be:

• Unworn, unused, and in its original condition

• Free of stains, odors, pet hair, makeup, or other signs of wear

• Returned with original tags and packaging, when applicable

• Accompanied by your order information or proof of purchase

Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused or returned to the customer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your return has been approved.

Approved returns will be refunded to the original method of payment. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Please allow your financial institution several business days to process the refund after it has been issued.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange eligible merchandise for a different size or item, subject to availability.

If the requested item is unavailable, you may choose a refund or store credit.

Sale & Final Sale Items

Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Clearance merchandise, personalized/custom items, artwork, and certain specialty items may also be designated as final sale. Any final-sale designation will be clearly noted at the time of purchase.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We carefully inspect orders before they leave our shop. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include your order number and photos of the item and packaging so we can quickly determine the best solution.

If the issue is the result of an error on our part or damage that occurred during shipping, we will work with you to provide a replacement, exchange, or refund as appropriate.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for returns due to size, fit, preference, or change of mind.

If the return is the result of an incorrect, defective, or damaged item received from us, The Shaggy Texan will cover the reasonable return shipping cost.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for merchandise lost in transit back to us.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with:

• Your order number

• The item(s) you would like to return

• The reason for the return

We will provide instructions for completing your return.

Please do not send merchandise back without first contacting us, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Shipping Made Simple

We’re excited to get your Shaggy Texan goodies headed your way! We carefully package every order so your items arrive safely and ready to enjoy.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–4 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

During new product launches, holidays, sales, or other busy periods, processing may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience while we get your order packed with care!

Shipping Methods & Rates

Shipping rates and available delivery options are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your order size, weight, and delivery location.

We currently ship orders within the United States.

From time to time, we may offer promotional shipping rates or free shipping on qualifying orders. Any applicable offers will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Packaging

We take pride in how we package your order. Each purchase is carefully packed to help protect your items during transit while keeping our packaging practical and thoughtful.

Because we’re a small Texas boutique, packaging may vary depending on the size and type of item you order.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when available.

Please allow the carrier some time to update tracking after your package has been picked up.

Shipping Delays

Once your package has been shipped, delivery is handled by the selected shipping carrier. While we do our best to provide accurate processing and shipping information, The Shaggy Texan is not responsible for carrier delays, weather, natural disasters, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside of our control.

If your package appears to be delayed, we recommend checking the tracking information first. We’re always happy to help however we can.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.

If you realize that you entered an incorrect address, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to make corrections before your order ships.

Once an order has shipped, we may not be able to change the delivery address. Additional shipping costs for reshipping an order due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer’s responsibility.

Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

Once tracking shows that an order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, The Shaggy Texan is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery.

If your package is marked as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend checking with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier first. We’re happy to assist with tracking information when possible.

Damaged Packages

We carefully package your order before it leaves our shop. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging.

We’ll work with you to determine the best solution.
